SitaRamayana - Kids Version

Sunil and Mehak, loved each other, they were from a different religion, but they struggled and got married, with their parent's concern.

They struggled to make an impactful life.
The kids were sent to kids care at times baby caretakers took care of them.
They used to get occupied by their work, but they strived to make time for the kids.
On the rotational basis they used to come a bit early, they managed their work and family.

Both Sunil and Mehak learned cooking by seeing the cookery shows and various youtube video, raising the child was not easy.
Pacifying the kids were difficult, they lost their sleep.
Dressing the kids taking them out, took a toll on them.

At times they used to fight like dogs and cat.
Once they see the kids face, they forget everything and started to share household chores.

With so many issues going around the world, both of them were worried about raising a kid in such a world.

Mehak: Sunil I can't raise kids, in a greedy world. There is so much of violence, every day it makes sick to see the news with so much negative news.
Sunil: I understand buddy.
We need to have control over their access to electronic media.
There are good and bad things in this world, let's block the bad and teach them good things, and let them learn to handle bad things with their learnings.
Mehak: Agreed.

Both of them had a proper plan, of raising the kids, they shared the devices only for an hour for the kids to play.
Rest of the time, they asked them to play with the clay, to get the feel of sand and creativity.

Mehak and Sunil started spending time with the children, every night they used to narrate the same bedtime stories to both the kids.

It was the story about modern SitaRamayanam.

Mehak: The King went on the hunting trip.
He saw the tiger at a distance, slowly he moved back opened his bag and shot it with his weapon.
Neetu: Mommy, did the tiger died? He is a bad king!
Mehak: No dear, the king used his DSLR camera, to hunt the beast.
The beast got captured in the frame but was free in the forest.
He Showed his bravery to his people, with his wildlife photography.
While he was returning, he saw a wounded man with his blind parents.
He helped them and got the blessings for his deeds.
Sanjay: Mommy.
Why didn't he kill the tiger, it is a maneater?
Mehak: No Sanjay, hunting is nature of wild animals not for us, we are civilized not a beast.
We can express our bravery by wildlife photography and make others to save those fast extinct animals.
Sunil: Ok mommy, I will tell the same to my friends.
Mehak: The king got blessed with three kids, The Ram, Lakshmanan, and Bharathan.
They were warriors, and they avoided wars by resolving issues by communications.
Rama, in spite of being a princess, he attended swayamwaram, to marry a girl.
The person who wins the challenge will be asked to marry the girl with her concerns.
Rama broke the bow, and made his presence in the swayamwaram and got married to Sita with her concern after proving his self-worth.

Sita, her self was a warrior princess she was a master in sword a true princess of their state.
Both of them got married, but there was a severe drought in their state.
One of the Rishi said that they need to plant the Virtue tree in their state, for that the princess Ram needs to get that plant.
Neetu: But mommy, by planting how drought gets solved?
Mehak: Tree attracts clouds. They maintain the earth's temperature.

On the way they encountered with a demon princess Shurpanakha, she fell in love with Rama, instantaneously. She kept tortured him, out of Rage there was a fight between Sita and the demon princes she got a chance to kill the demon but forgave her.

Neetu: Why mom, she should have killed, that bad aunty!

Sunil: Neetu dear, I told you right we should not force someone to love. Sita defeated her and made her understand that her Husband was not an object meant for others.

Shurpanakha was not ready to accept failure.
She used her brother's love in the wrong way.
Ravana blinded by affection lost his mind.
Out of Rage, he abducted Sita with manipulation.

Ram was true by heart; nothing could separate him from her. Hanuman and other petit animals helped him while battling the powerful demon.
Sita believed in her love.
Demons tried to torture her, being a warrior woman
she won all her battles.
To prove their love, she lived patiently for Ram to rescue her.
Every life form helped Ram, to reach her.
Sanjay: Papa What good can squirrel do for him.
Sunil: Our ancestors lived with animals.  Don't judge by size.
Sanjay: got it, papa.
Sunil: There were discussions, but Ravana was not ready for negotiation. He wanted the war.
Mehak: The Ravana got defeated. He pleaded for death.
Ram forgave Ravana to symbolize how blind love
devastated a good brother.
He explained the truth and left the place with Sita and Lakshmanan.
Ravana lived with guilt throughout his life.

They took the Virtuous tree, and they planted it in their state, clouds got attracted, the thick forest formed.
The other lifeforms contributed to retaining flora and fauna.
The entire kingdom flourished in green, to show prosperity.

Neetu and Sanjay shared their paren's version of SitaRamayana, to other kids. They started planting the trees and helped other life forms. There was a change in their behaviors and belief.

What you have sown, gets reaped. Nourish it to see the yielding.

The secret of Epics, depicting God and Demons as a human is to convey both Ram, Ravan, Sita, and Surphanakh exist within us.
How we fight and win over them decides the future of the world and people surrounding us.
Let the god win by slaughtering the demon thoughts within.

The Change Makers

Maliga Puram is a village near the outskirts of Bangalore. With a lot of colleges nearby but students need to travel by bus and need to walk a lot.
The village once was filled with people and resources, was left to the mercy of the god.
Where most of the people started to migrate, the agricultural fields got dried due to severe drought. Farmers were committing suicide due to the lack of yields and debts.
The schools were there in the village, but due to lack of maintenance, the school buildings were falling apart, and kids stopped attending it.

Clarke was the youngster who hailed in this village. He struggled with his communication, as he didn’t get the exposure to English or the accents been used by the students, in the city.
He worked hard and completed schooling and was able to get into the college, with great difficulty.

He watched and listened to the movies and news, with subtitles. He used the internet, to learn the subjects, with which he gained the confidence to face life.

Being from the village, he was concerned about his people, though he was from Arts background. He learned a lot from his friends and college mates from other departments.
He learned about drip irrigation that is useful for areas suffering from droughts and started exploring on others.

He formed a Facebook group ChangeMakers where students from various backgrounds shared their knowledge to make the change to society.
It got promoted with a word of spread from students within his college.

A challenge gets posted, and students come up with a suggestion.

The Engineers designed horizontal turbines where the water levels were low in the river stream they used it to generate electricity. They used a coating of cow dung in rooms to act as insulators. Bamboos with minute holes pinched throughout it got buried in various places in the village and sides of the road. It helped in retaining the ground waters during the heavy rainfall.
Gravels and broken rocks in the lake beds reduced the evaporations in summer and retained water.

They used a set of plants and formed a moving purifier on the black waters, where the roots of the plants fed on the contaminated water.
The only maintenance was to replace the plants and the plastic base packed with a net.

By applying the defend mechanism, instead of chemicals in agriculture, they avoided many side effects.
The botany and zoologist students worked together and found the insects that attack the crops and the predators for those insects.
They made an effort to raise those predators, with a careful study of their behavior on the crops, thereby reducing the cost and dependency of a lot of chemical fertilizers.

They collaborated with a radio channel, where the tips were given by the professors and scientists, from various organizations it gave a chance, for the farmers to discuss their concern issues.
The farmers from villages who won the drought successfully got a chance to share their experiences with others.

With a small investment, they purchased a set of vacuum packaging machines.
It helped the farmers to pack, and sell the products to the market, by increased the shelf life to an extent.

The MBA students used an opportunity to market. They came up with a business plan and was shared, to their Dean, and retailer.

A small market got set up within their campus by partnering with the retailer, as part of the initiative, the middle brokers got avoided,
The College staffs and students purchased the groceries and the vegetables from the market much below the market price. The part of the profit amount got used for the development of more such villages.

The group got the sponsors, for the program and students from B.ED conducted a skype based education with recorded sessions to the teachers and students at times along with the help of their alumni students and retired professors.

The Civil engineers from their group experimented and came up with a different structure for the building by changing the composition of the concrete mixtures, with some funds in place they were able to complete the project.

To establish gender equality, students from psychology backgrounds and arts worked together they started conducting the street plays and puppet shows with a modified version of Epics, by highlighting, gender equality by quoting examples from epics.

The villagers and people who watched the program started to understand the importance of educating all the genders and started to say No to the child marriages.
For paraphrasing, the media students placed the posters in appropriate places like post office and schools.

To address the child labor issue, students raise the fund by conducting programs on music, art exhibition, mime, drama shows, and photography, they sold it through their college website and they marketed the same through social media and with word of mouth, some of the celebrities as well contributed for the cause by doing a free show. The success of this idea has been because of students, as it was intended to be a social cause, not another business.
The funds raised used to keep the students in school as a stipend/meal-snacks.
They were able to convince the parents, as education will provide them a bright future.
The stipend was less but good enough to sustain their family.

Humanity students narrated the importance of knowing their rights by sharing the "Sahaas App" designed for gender safety in two languages they explained villagers once in a while during their NSS camp on the peace and security by referring to Red Elephant Foundation team’s freely available contents.

The students’ group conducted the Smart Phone donation program.
Where the students donated their old working smartphones, they uploaded the course contents developed by the media. Media students produced content for the government syllabus with YouTube licensed videos.

To address the medical issues, they trained some of the volunteers from the village with the help of students, who were pursuing the nurse and MBBS. It subdued serious wounds with delayed medical attention, as the first aid saved much life.

With mechanical engineers working together, they designed a flexible van where they could change the seats into an ambulance, and the same could be used for the transportation of vegetables as well.

All these innovations they did as a project and claimed the patent.

The group became popular.
The students gained knowledge and started to produce, entrepreneurs.

The village once which was deteriorating, renamed as inventor’s village, where from agriculture to humanity there was a change.

Clarke was an ordinary person, but he played the role of catalyst in making a change.
When People with similar passion unites, the change will be born.

Share ideas by brainstorming, future in hands, of Ignited Minds.

You need not be a superman to make a change, be a dedicated Clarke with passion by being part of a league.
